For decades, owners and guests of Indian Palms Vacation Club have returned to enjoy a relaxing, resort-like experience in one of the most beautiful beach towns in the country. Here are a few reviews from our guests.
Everything about people at the Vacation club were great. Units are nice but it is not really a resort. No perks. No extras. No weight room no restaurant. No games room. The $200 resort fee per week kills any chance of return customers. It is a90 percent rented to local families and workers so we paid $28 per day to use a swim pool. We won’t come back.
1) 2 expired and unopened beer cans were found under the pantry.
2) A roach was found in the kitchen sink. The staff addressed it promptly, as the maintenance manager was over to spray in an hour, however he didn't know what the chemical was, and wasn't knowledgeable of how to properly investigate. We advised they could spray as we were leaving for a bit, but never got confirmation spraying done. The day after, 2 more Roaches were found in the kitchen.
3) The living room TV had lines, although still watchable.
4) Multiple areas weren't cleaned adequately as drawers had liquid residue, open candy seen on the floor, and dirty walls/doors observed. The dishwasher had trash inside, the kitchen and restroom cabinets have holes in the walls, and the provided kitchen sponge and sturdy sweep were already used.
5) Basic accommodations were good (kitchen had full plates/cups/utensils/cookware, restrooms had soaps and towels, and bedrooms had full bedding) and it was great that the pools were heated.
6) We booked our stay for the week but were still told that we had to pay an additional unjustified $25 per day as a resort fee, which only offered a pool and grill as an amenity.
7) The staff were very friendly and tried to address issues within their job description.
8) Overall, it's a small step up from a motel 6. It gets the job done if you plan on being out for majority of the time.

I have stayed at Indian Palms vacation rental many years. On this particular stay I have decided the property is just getting too old and dated.
Positives: great communication before my stay
Negatives: both bathrooms had a few sheets of toilet paper and no reserves in the cabinets. I had to request and go get it….
The blender was broken
The coffee maker is the most convoluted machine I have encountered, it took 4 tries to figure it out…..why have something no one has encountered when there are the most user friendly machines in every hotel ect. At the very least put a instruction sheet next to it.
Road noises are an issue, perhaps new better windows could help.
Make sure there is toilet paper

The room set up was spacious and exactly what I needed. The location is close to the Coachella Valley Polo Clubs, which was convenient, and is in a closed community, so super safe. The bathroom and main floors were dirty. When I asked the office if anybody was going to clean the room? I was told, "Not today." I will add that "Michael," who was the only person in the office, was helpful and professional. He took my messages, but no one called me back, and Housekeeping DID NOT clean the room during my 6-night stay.
