2017:

Joshua Tree Music Festival: October 5 – 8

This all-ages family-friendly music festival includes everything from a hip, eclectic mix of electro-funk’n groove sounds to soulful melodies from around the world. Bring the whole family to enjoy music, art, group yoga sessions and a large list of fun activities in “Kidsville”!

Desert Oasis: October 7-8

Enjoy the eclectic lineup of musical artists at this two-day festival and enjoy everything from reggae, ska, rap and Latin sounds. It’s the inaugural year of this epic festival and it’s happening on the famous polo fields that also host Coachella and Stagecoach. Indio California BBQ State Championship & Festival – November 4

The festival will feature pit masters from across the nation competing for the best barbecue to win up to $10,000.  Enjoy an exciting family-friendly day of scrumptious food and fun! Cabazon Indio Powwow: November 24-26

Join the Cabazon Band of Mission Indians to celebrate cultural traditions on their Indio reservation. This educational and exciting festival is fun for the whole family. The festival focuses on different types of dances – social dances called Intertribals, healing rituals and celebrations of triumph. Join in on games and taste the delicious array of native dishes, along with shopping the bazaar of authentic tribal arts and crafts.

International Tamale Festival: December 2-3

Delight in the cultural flavors at this year’s International Tamale Festival. It’s a fun day for the whole family where visitors can revel in shopping and all-day entertainment including traditional Folklorico dancing and line dancing.
